History

Wanke Portfolio Consulting GmbH was set up in 1994 in Frankfurt am Main/ Germany. Mr. Werner Wanke, the founder of the company, has got 33 years of business experience. He passed his acadamic degree at the university of Cologne. He studied economics with a focus on macroeconomics, banking and capital markets analysis. He started his business career in 1969 as a junior portfolio manager at DWS/ Frankfurt. Before setting up the company he was head of the portfolio management at dresdnerbank investment management and partner at B. Metzler, a Frankfurt based Private Bank, responsible for brokerage and the investment banking division.
