The main part of our business is the consultancy of institutional asset management companies including hedge funds. We supply only professional clients with capital market strategies and corporate evaluation. Especially concerning this business segment we work in a close cooperation with a highly reputated international investment bank with an pan-european network. We pursue a special stock picking approach with the aim of absolute performance.

Concerning the investment banking consultancy activities Wanke Portfolio Consulting GmbH has got a track record over the last eight years in very interesting and sophisticated projects. This includes mandates in the IPO business, f.e. the going public of Germany´s national airline Lufthansa in 1997, which was one of the biggest German privatisation projects so far. Wanke Portfolio Consulting was also involved in the IPO of Edscha in 1999, which is another good example for our expertise in this business segment.

Wanke Portfolio Consulting GmbH has got expierence in the field of M&A as well, which was important for the takeover of Quante AG by the American company 3M in 2000, where we represented the interests of minority shareholders of Quante AG to optimize their interest. We also offer our service in early stage related M&A matters, especially related to corporate strategies.
